Cellectric Platform
Our Technology
Removing human background from complex samples
At the core of the Cellectric Platform is a powerful idea: simplify complex samples by removing what’s in the way. By selectively lysing human cells, we make hidden microbes visible—clearing the path for faster, more accurate analysis.
See Everything. Miss Nothing.
At first glance, a complex human sample is a blur—millions of mammalian cells masking what truly matters: the dangerous microbes within. You could spend hours meticulously searching for them, hoping to catch a glimpse.
But now, there’s a new way.
Our innovative electric field technology selectively lyses human cells, leaving the microbes intact — and suddenly, the invisible becomes visible. As the sample clears, the microbes emerge, alive and unaltered, ready for detection.
See Everything. Miss Nothing.
The Cellectric Platform efficiently lyses human cells while leaving microbes viable
We use cell-selective electromagnetic waves to lyse cells. Extensive testing (n>1000) has shown that various microbes – including Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, yeast, and virus-like particles – remain unharmed by the process, with no detectable loss. This has been validated with both statistical and biological significance internally and externally.
The Cellectric Platform is compatible with a range of sample types, including blood, saliva, sputum, and synovials, and supports sample volumes from 100 μl to 10 ml (4 min/ml).
All tested microbes remain fully viable after electrodynamic sample lysis
The Cellectric Platform
The Cellectric Platform accepts a wide range of samples, including whole blood, saliva, and sputum, making it highly adaptable for various analytical workflows. Once processed, the lysate can be directly applied to different downstream applications such as faster liquid culture detection, direct plating from blood, or accelerated DNA sequencing — empowering faster and more flexible microbial analysis from the very first step.
