A team from Cellectric is currently in Uppsala, Sweden, working closely with Gradientech on an exciting new collaboration aimed at redefining how sepsis is diagnosed and treated.
The partnership focuses on a proof-of-concept study that combines Cellectric’s novel direct-from-blood technology with Gradientech’s QuickMIC® ultra-rapid AST platform. Together, the goal is to significantly shorten the time needed to deliver critical diagnostic results for sepsis patients.
Cellectric’s approach enables the selective destruction of human cells in blood samples, isolating bacteria within minutes and bypassing the need for traditional culturing steps. When paired with Gradientech’s QuickMIC system, this has the potential to dramatically improve workflow efficiency and accelerate life-saving treatment decisions.
We are excited to join forces with Gradientech, whose ultra-rapid AST platform is already setting new standards in clinical microbiology. Together, we aim to improve workflow efficiency and contribute to faster, more accurate treatment decisions for sepsis patients worldwide.
